About the Role:
As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will be a key member of our revenue accounting team, building scalable processes to ensure accurate and complete revenue accounting, reporting, and compliance. Reporting to the Revenue Manager, you will help build, operate, and evolve our systems to support our rapid growth.
What You’ll Achieve:
- Lead monthly and quarterly close activities, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and revenue schedules.
- Build effective relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with teams like Monetization Engineering, Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk.
- Collaborate on non-standard financial terms, reviewing and assessing revenue impacts.
- Assist in building and refining revenue processes and controls, identifying automation opportunities.
- Support Financial Reporting and Audit requirements related to Revenue.
Skills You’ll Need to Bring:
- 5+ years of revenue accounting experience, preferably in a technology company.
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and ASC 606.
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience navigating large datasets.
- Experience with NetSuite, Stripe, and Salesforce (or similar ERP/CRM tools).
- Willingness to use and experiment with AI tools.
Nice to Haves:
- CPA (active or inactive).
- Experience with SQL or willingness to learn.
- Experience using Notion.

Notion is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, with the estimated base salary range for this role in San Francisco being $115,000 – $140,000 per year, based on experience and location.
