What You’ll Do
- Lead business development initiatives to establish a market presence and drive sales within the asset management industry.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring steady pipeline progression.
- Coordinate sales efforts by collaborating with internal teams, including pre-sales, value management, marketing, and sales support.
- Utilize consultative selling strategies to build and sustain long-term relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors.
- Position Ridgeline as a modern, cloud-based alternative to outdated legacy systems.
- Maintain an active pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting and sales progress tracking.
- Travel regularly (~33%) to cultivate and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
- Approach challenges with creativity, take ownership of problems, seek effective solutions, and communicate clearly throughout the sales process.
- Foster a collaborative culture focused on learning, knowledge-sharing, and transparency.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of experience in technology-based enterprise solution and service sales.
- 5+ years in a quota-carrying role with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts, including senior-level executives and C-suite stakeholders.
- Expertise in consultative selling methodologies and cross-functional collaboration to drive results.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with keen attention to detail and strong time management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Willingness to stay ahead of emerging technologies while developing expertise in the investment management domain.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- A passion for creating an engaging and enjoyable work environment.
