Company Overview
At Uber, we are driven by ambition and fueled by movement. We are the go-getters—relentlessly committed to our mission: helping people move, earn, and access what they need, anytime and anywhere. Movement is at the core of everything we do. It’s our energy, our passion, and our purpose. It inspires us to constantly reimagine how we can improve the way people get around, obtain essential items, and create earning opportunities—instantly, globally, and at the speed of now.
Our journey began on a snowy evening in Paris in 2008. What started as a simple idea has grown into a global platform that empowers flexible work and facilitates the seamless movement of people and goods. From ride-sharing in cars to deliveries on bikes and even 18-wheel freight logistics, Uber has continuously evolved to meet the diverse needs of our users.
