Senior Security Analyst

Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company dedicated to developing innovative targeted therapies for RAS-addicted cancers. Our R&D pipeline includes RAS(ON) Inhibitors to suppress oncogenic RAS variants and RAS Companion Inhibitors for combination treatments.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Analyst to join our IS Security, Risk, and Compliance team. This role focuses on ensuring the security, integrity, and compliance of our systems and data. The ideal candidate will leverage expertise in security processes, technologies, and risk management to safeguard digital assets and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain security platforms and tools.
  • Develop and execute security strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Manage threat detection, incident response, and risk mitigation across endpoints, servers, cloud, and SaaS environments.
  • Implement cloud security controls in Azure and AWS while ensuring compliance with ISO and NIST standards.
  • Monitor security alerts, assess vulnerabilities, and lead remediation efforts.
  • Maintain Identity Threat Protection and Endpoint Security to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and emerging threats.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Hands-on experience with endpoint security, identity protection, and network detection & response (NDR) tools.
  • Strong expertise in cloud security (Azure, AWS) and cybersecurity frameworks (ISO, NIST).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with patch management tools (BigFix).
  • Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, Security+).
  • Knowledge of SOAR platforms and security automation
