Senior Security Analyst
Join Revolution Medicines, a clinical-stage precision oncology company dedicated to developing innovative therapies for RAS-addicted cancers. As a Senior Security Analyst within our IS Security, Risk, and Compliance team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data. You’ll design and implement security solutions, protect our digital assets, and ensure data reliability and compliance across all systems. This role requires expertise in security processes, technologies, threat detection, incident response, risk management, and security metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of security platforms and tools.
- Help develop and execute a strategic security vision aligned with business goals.
- Evaluate and manage threat detection, incident response, and risk management solutions across various threat surfaces (endpoint, servers, email, cloud, etc.).
- Monitor and triage vulnerabilities using an Exposure Management platform, driving remediation via patch management or manual intervention.
- Implement and manage cloud security configurations in Azure and AWS, ensuring compliance with ISO and NIST standards.
- Utilize token security and SaaS Security Platforms to monitor non-human identity posture and SaaS application configurations.
- Deploy and maintain Endpoint Security solutions for threat detection, response, and device control, including potential threat hunting.
- Perform daily validation of Identity Threat Protection data to safeguard user identities.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure the effectiveness of security controls.
- Perform daily monitoring and response to alerts from our on-premise network detection and response system.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
- B.S. degree in a relevant field.
- Hands-on experience with Astrix Security, Darktrace, CrowdStrike (Endpoint Security, Exposure Management, Identity Threat Protection modules) is a plus; other EDR, NHI, and NDR experience is acceptable.
- Proven experience in cloud security within Azure and AWS.
- Experience in runbook development via a SOAR platform (preferred).
- Effective written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills within and across teams.
- Strong analytical and independent problem-solving abilities.
- Innovative team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with patch management platforms like BigFix.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, Security+, CrowdStrike University).
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (ISO, NIST).

Base Salary Range (for Redwood City, CA): $116,000 – $145,000 (commensurate with experience, skills, and location; adjusted for local market).
