About the Job – Information Security Governance Analyst

We’re looking for an experienced Information Security Governance Analyst to lead the advancement of our information governance and data classification program. In this role, you’ll help protect sensitive company data by developing policies, managing data asset lifecycles, and ensuring security controls align with global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance information security policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Develop and implement a robust data classification and governance program.

  • Identify and classify sensitive data assets across the organization.

  • Improve data lifecycle processes including creation, storage, usage, sharing, and destruction.

  • Collaborate with departments to promote data protection practices and awareness.

  • Support incident investigations and risk assessments when needed.

  • Monitor compliance and conduct regular audits.

  • Provide reports and updates to senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on governance or data classification.

  • Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS controls.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
