Tripleseat, a leading web-based event management platform for the hospitality industry, is seeking a Senior Software Developer. We’re looking for a passionate individual to solve complex technical challenges, mentor team members, and shape the architecture of our cloud-based solutions.

About the Role:
This is a fully remote position (US or Canada) requiring initial onboarding in Concord, MA. You’ll develop impactful features, lead architectural decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor developers, optimize performance, support integrations, drive Agile excellence, and innovate with analytics.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and optimize new features.
- Lead technical architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with product, design, sales, and customer success teams.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
- Analyze and enhance code performance.
- Build and maintain third-party integrations.
- Promote Agile methodologies.
- Work on deep analytics features and modern workflow designs.
What We’re Looking For:
- 6+ years (ideally 8+) of cloud-based software development experience.
- Significant experience with Ruby on Rails, React, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Docker, and scalable distributed systems.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor developers.
- Strong computer science fundamentals.
- Experience optimizing performance for high-load applications.
- Expertise in writing clean, testable code and unit testing.
- Adaptability to large codebases and existing conventions.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
Bonus Points:
- Familiarity with DevOps and AWS.
- Passion for the hospitality industry and event management tools.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Backbone, Node.js).
- Experience with Docker.
