Role Overview:
We are seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to own the maintenance, optimization, and innovation of Shield AI’s corporate website. This is a high-impact role for a multidisciplinary creative who can translate complex ideas into elegant, performant digital experiences. You will architect scalable web solutions, design dynamic product pages, and define design systems that elevate the Shield AI brand online.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead full-stack development and optimization of Shield AI’s website across all pages, systems, and technologies.

Translate design concepts into interactive, high-performance web experiences.

Design and launch new landing pages, microsites, and interactive content using Figma and front-end frameworks like WP Engine.

Define and manage scalable design systems, templates, and component libraries.

Implement performance enhancements, SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and mobile responsiveness.

Develop and extend themes and plugins to deliver custom solutions.

Build and maintain third-party integrations (analytics, lead generation, CMS tools).

Mentor colleagues on web best practices, technical feasibility, and scalable system development.
Required Qualifications:

5–8 years of experience in web design and front-end development with full-site ownership.

Strong portfolio showcasing responsive, high-performance, design-forward websites.

Deep experience with WP Engine, including deployment workflows, caching/CDN, plugin management, and staging environments.

Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, or custom stacks).

Expertise in Figma and UX/UI best practices.

Experience translating Figma designs into custom WordPress themes or builder-based systems (Elementor, Gutenberg, ACF).

Knowledge of site architecture, performance tuning, analytics, and A/B testing.

Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in enterprise SaaS, defense, aerospace, or emerging tech industries.

Familiarity with animation for visual storytelling (Lottie, GSAP, After Effects → web).

Experience implementing multi-language or region-specific websites and internationalization best practices.

Knowledge of design tokens, theming, and web accessibility standards (WCAG).

Background in domain infrastructure, DNS management, and web security best practices.
Compensation & Benefits:

Full-time: $100,000–$150,000 + bonus + benefits + equity

Temporary: $100,000–$150,000 + temporary benefits package (after 60 days)
