About the Role:
Apex Systems is seeking a Senior Drupal Full Stack Developer to join Insulet’s Web Development team. Insulet, makers of the Omnipod insulin pump, is expanding its digital platforms to improve the lives of people living with Diabetes. This is a remote, collaborative role where you will contribute to Drupal 10 development, implement new functionality, maintain existing code, and help enhance the overall CMS infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy Drupal modules and site functionality.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot the Drupal CMS infrastructure.

  • Collaborate with QA and IT teams to ensure code functionality, security, and quality.

  • Document code, workflows, testing procedures, and SOPs clearly.

  • Estimate and plan iterative agile releases as part of a Scrum team.

  • Identify risks, anticipate issues at the module level, and escalate when needed.

  • Develop automation tools for testing, deployment, and monitoring applications.

  • Communicate effectively with IT leaders and business users on project status and support tickets.

  • Stay updated on technology trends and tools for potential implementation.

  • Foster an inclusive team culture that embraces diverse perspectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of experience as a Drupal developer.

  • Strong knowledge of Drupal 9/10 APIs with PHP 8.x development experience.

  • Solid debugging skills.

  • Experience with Drupal 8 theming, Twig templates/HTML, CSS/SASS, and responsive design.

  • Familiarity with JavaScript and source control tools (GitHub, Bitbucket).

  • Experience in Agile development methodology.

  • Familiarity with Mulesoft.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce platform (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, APIs).

  • Acquia Certified Developer (or higher) and experience with Acquia hosting.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

  • Positive, results-driven, logical, and collaborative team player.
