About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Web Developer to own the development and maintenance of Apex’s marketing website. You will collaborate closely with marketing and design teams to deliver a fast, responsive, and visually appealing website that aligns with our brand and business goals. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in headless CMS platforms and front-end frameworks like Svelte, with a systematic approach to problem-solving and iteration.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and evolution of Apex’s corporate website, ensuring high functionality, usability, and innovation.

Optimize website features and SEO to enhance performance, accessibility, and user experience.

Implement, manage, and refine analytics tools (Google Analytics, GTM) for actionable insights.

Collaborate with marketing and design teams to translate Figma designs into production-ready code.

Conduct QA and troubleshoot technical challenges efficiently.

Introduce new development standards, tools, and processes to maintain a cutting-edge digital experience.

Support A/B testing and personalization experiments to increase engagement and conversion rates.

Manage code deployments, updates, and releases while enhancing site reliability, scalability, and adaptability.

Develop forward-thinking solutions to future-proof the website in alignment with evolving business objectives.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience building dynamic, responsive websites.

Experience with headless CMS platforms, specifically WordPress & ACF in a headless architecture.

Experience with modern hosting providers (Vercel, Pantheon) and CI/CD best practices.

Proficiency in HTML, CSS (SASS), JavaScript, and Svelte/SvelteKit.

Experience with Git/GitHub and maintaining WordPress instances.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Knowledge of web accessibility standards and mobile-first design principles.

Experience using Figma to implement designs into production-ready code.
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with alternative frameworks (NextJS/React, VueJS/NuxtJS).

Experience with analytics and SEO tools to measure performance.

PHP experience for WordPress customizations.

Interest in marketing and user behavior to align technical solutions with business strategy.
