Position Summary:
As a Senior Web Developer, you will support USPS Corporate Communications, ensuring high-quality, accessible, and responsive web experiences. You will develop, enhance, and maintain core JavaScript and CSS files, troubleshoot deployment issues, and improve Section 508 accessibility compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance main JavaScript and CSS files for websites.

Troubleshoot website deployment, security, and TeamSite template issues.

Investigate and resolve accessibility issues to maintain Section 508 compliance.

Design and develop new website features, including creating and enhancing TeamSite templates.

Write and maintain technical documentation for the Interactive Digital team.

Create analytics reports using Google Looker Studio.

Run monthly website scans to identify broken links and typos.

Assist team members in troubleshooting website and TeamSite issues.
Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in web development.

Strong proficiency in CSS, Sass, and JavaScript, adhering to browser compatibility standards.

Experience with jQuery, Bootstrap 3/4, and Sass-based customizations.

Experience building reports with Looker Studio.
-
Experience with TeamSite and Dreamweaver is a plus.

Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Experience with USPS or other government web systems.

Knowledge of accessibility and federal compliance standards.
