About the Role
BD&J is seeking a skilled Marketing/SEO Copywriter to join our Communications team. This role plays a vital part in crafting high-quality, original content across various platforms—including blogs, web pages, marketing materials, and email campaigns. The ideal candidate is an experienced writer with a sharp eye for detail, an understanding of SEO, and a collaborative spirit.
Note: This position strictly prohibits the use of generative AI tools for content creation.
Key Responsibilities

Write original, SEO-optimized weekly blog posts in compliance with SEO best practices

Create and update marketing materials including brochures, flyers, and direct mail

Draft monthly email campaigns and manage email list updates

Collaborate with Marketing team members on creative and strategic content initiatives

Support other communications and marketing tasks as needed
Required Qualifications

2+ years of professional copywriting experience

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Ability to work 8-hour days on a computer (remote)

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish
Preferred Skills

2+ years of SEO experience

Prior experience in legal marketing
