About the Role
Our agency client is seeking a full-time, fully remote SEO Director to lead the strategic vision and daily operations of their SEO department. This role is responsible for driving performance for 100+ clients, mentoring senior SEO staff, and innovating SEO strategies that deliver measurable results. You’ll play a key role in expanding the agency’s SEO capabilities, implementing cutting-edge tools, and ensuring client satisfaction across multiple verticals.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and continuously refine the agency’s SEO strategy in line with industry trends.

Lead and manage senior SEO managers, ensuring high-quality client deliverables.

Drive client retention and satisfaction through proactive performance monitoring and feedback resolution.

Lead enterprise-level SEO initiatives, including site migrations, Core Web Vitals optimization, and international SEO projects.

Implement scalable processes and advanced tools to improve team efficiency and client outcomes.

Expand SEO capabilities into new markets while maintaining compliance with local best practices.

Collaborate cross-functionally to support integrated marketing campaigns and strategies.
Required Qualifications

7+ years of SEO experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.

Proven success in managing teams and retaining clients through high performance.

Expertise across technical SEO, on-page SEO, local SEO, and off-page SEO.

Strong strategic thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in legal, medical, or dental marketing preferred.

Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to optimize SEO workflows.

Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship and physically located in the U.S.
