About the Role
Wowza is seeking a Senior SEO Strategist to lead the company’s organic growth initiatives and strengthen its digital presence. In this role, you will own the SEO roadmap, improving visibility, driving qualified traffic, and increasing conversions across Wowza’s web ecosystem.
As streaming, AI, and search evolve, this role will be instrumental in shaping Wowza’s search and content strategy for the next generation of users, creators, and businesses.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Execution

Lead Wowza’s SEO roadmap, prioritizing on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives.

Conduct keyword research, audience analysis, and content gap identification across the streaming and SaaS industries.

Partner with content, product, and growth teams to integrate SEO into campaigns and product launches.

Stay updated on AI-driven search trends and evolving SEO/AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) best practices.
Technical & On-Page Optimization

Audit and enhance site architecture, metadata, internal linking, and schema markup for better discoverability.

Collaborate with developers to improve crawlability, Core Web Vitals, and mobile performance.

Optimize content for user intent, engagement, and conversion.

Conduct QA reviews in staging and production to ensure proper SEO implementation.
Off-Page & Authority Building

Develop and manage a strategic link-building and digital PR program.

Strengthen brand visibility through media mentions, partnerships, and community engagement.

Enhance Wowza’s authority within the streaming ecosystem.
Analytics, Reporting & Insights

Track and analyze performance using GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and other tools.

Build dashboards and automated alerts to monitor KPIs, rankings, and conversions.

Present insights and recommendations to marketing and leadership teams.
Qualifications
Required
-
7+ years of SEO experience in B2B tech, SaaS, or digital media.

Proven record of driving organic growth and conversions across complex ecosystems.

Deep understanding of technical SEO, site architecture, and analytics.

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for SEO implementation.

Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.

Proficiency in GA4, Search Console, and working knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Looker).
Preferred

Knowledge of compliance frameworks, AI-driven search optimization, and automation workflows.

Experience with SQL, Python, or advanced data analysis.

Fluency in Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and structured content design.
