About the Role

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy Development

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy for the SFCC e-commerce platform.

  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market research to identify growth opportunities.

  • Align SEO efforts with marketing and overall business objectives.

On-Page Optimization

  • Optimize website content including product descriptions, meta tags, headings, and internal linking.

  • Ensure adherence to SEO best practices and search engine algorithms.

Technical SEO

  • Perform website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues.

  • Optimize site speed, mobile responsiveness, and crawlability.

Content Marketing

  • Collaborate with content creators to produce SEO-friendly, engaging content.

  • Develop a content distribution strategy to attract backlinks from reputable sources.

Link Building

  • Identify and execute link-building campaigns to increase domain authority.

  • Monitor and disavow toxic backlinks to maintain a healthy link profile.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Monitor website performance using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics.

  • Generate regular reports with actionable insights to improve SEO performance.

Stay Updated with SEO Trends

  • Keep up with industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging SEO techniques.

  • Implement best practices to maintain competitive search rankings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, preferably in e-commerce or SFCC environments.

  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, algorithms, and ranking factors.

  • Proficiency with SEO tools: SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable strategies.

  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

  • Familiarity with SFCC or similar e-commerce platforms preferred.

  • Up-to-date with the latest trends in SEO and digital marketing.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
