Join Hargreaves Lansdown as a Service Desk Analyst
Are you passionate about IT support and problem-solving? As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for IT incidents and service requests, ensuring smooth technical operations across the business. You will support users via phone and digital channels, efficiently troubleshooting issues and escalating complex cases when necessary. Additionally, you will manage the Joiners, Movers, and Leavers (JML) process, ensuring secure access control and resource allocation.
What You’ll Be Doing
IT Support & Issue Resolution
- Act as the first point of contact for IT support, resolving incidents and fulfilling service requests.
- Provide technical assistance via phone and other communication channels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and system access.
- Collaborate with the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team to manage secure user access.
Service Requests & Resource Management
- Handle IT resource allocation, including hardware, software, and permissions.
- Manage user account creation, modifications, and deactivation requests.
- Maintain accurate records and update ticket statuses throughout the request lifecycle.
Joiners, Movers, and Leavers (JML) Process
- Work closely with HR and other teams to ensure smooth onboarding, transitions, and exits.
- Ensure IT security policies are followed for all personnel changes.
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience in a Service Desk Analyst role or similar IT support position.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
- Technical expertise in one or more of the following (preferred but not required):
- Active Directory & Microsoft Entra
- Endpoint Manager & VMware Horizon
- Exchange Online & One Identity
- MacOS & Windows 11
- Basic networking principles
