About the Role:
Oracle is seeking a skilled Production Environment Administrator to support critical business operations across multiple production environments. This role focuses on managing systems and databases in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), providing escalated technical support, and optimizing performance, availability, and scalability. The ideal candidate combines deep technical knowledge with cloud administration expertise to handle complex challenges in high-performance, high-availability environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize production server hardware and software.

Provide escalated technical support for complex issues, coordinating internal resources and third-party vendors.

Manage Oracle system and database appliances, including storage infrastructure.

Assist with server OS and application upgrades, bug fixes, patching, and standardization projects.

Maintain consistent system uptime in a cloud environment.

Lead problem management cases, providing status updates to management.

Participate in on-call support on a rotating basis to ensure production reliability.
Qualifications:

Experience with production environment administration, system performance optimization, and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and related technology stacks.

Strong understanding of system availability, high-performance requirements, and scalability challenges.

Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly range: $38.03 – $76.06 | Annual range: $79,100 – $158,200 (may be eligible for equity)
