Your Role: Industrial Sales Representative
As an Industrial Sales Representative, you’ll manage and grow a profitable customer base in Terre Haute, Indiana and the surrounding region. Your primary focus will be driving sales of Atlas Copco’s service products — including service plans, repairs, and overhauls — while delivering world-class customer service. You’ll also play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, introducing new products, and ensuring Atlas Copco remains “First in mind, First in choice” for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Growth (80%)

Prospect, source, and maintain a strong pipeline of quality customers.

Achieve and exceed assigned sales goals through action plans and targeted prospecting.

Sell service products (plans, repairs, overhauls) while introducing new offerings and upgrades.

Follow up on leads, referrals, and past accounts to drive engagement and revenue.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers, especially key accounts.

Research and propose solutions to customer challenges, collaborating with Sales Managers when needed.

Support local distributors and increase regional market share through planned prospecting activities.

Maintain accurate customer data, opportunities, and sales activities within the CRM system (C4C).
Personal Development (10%)

Stay current on industry trends, sales strategies, and Atlas Copco products through training, networking, and professional development.

Leverage company resources like the Business Portal to continue growing professionally.
Reporting (10%)

Prepare timely sales activity reports, lost order analyses, forecasts, and expense reports.

Share insights on competitive activity, customer feedback, and recommendations for product or pricing adjustments.
What You’ll Bring

Minimum 2 years of industrial sales experience (compressed air industry preferred).

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; equivalent experience considered.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).

Proven business analysis abilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Self-directed, motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Valid driver’s license with flexibility to travel within the assigned territory.
What We Offer

Competitive base salary: $55K – $70K (depending on skills and experience).

Commission plan: First-year total compensation targeted up to $120K based on performance.
