Shift Manager Responsibilities
As a Shift Manager, you will lead shifts and support your team in delivering fast, friendly, and accurate service to every customer. You will be instrumental in maintaining McDonald’s standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
Your responsibilities may include:

Food Safety: Ensuring food safety procedures are followed throughout the shift.

Crew Management: Leading and coaching crew members and fellow managers.

Customer Service: Delivering outstanding guest experiences at every interaction.

Inventory Oversight: Monitoring and managing inventory levels.

Cleanliness & Maintenance: Ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment.

Communication: Keeping the team and incoming shift leaders informed and prepared.

Training & Development: Supporting the training and development of crew members.

Scheduling: Assisting in effective staffing and schedule management.

Safety & Security: Maintaining a safe and secure work environment.

Performance Monitoring: Helping achieve operational and departmental goals.
Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older

Prior leadership experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality preferred

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays

A positive attitude and a passion for delivering great service
Compensation & Job Type

Pay Rate: $17–$20 per hour, based on availability and experience
