Head Pastry Chef – Full-Time
Kneaders Bakery & Café is seeking a talented and passionate full-time Head Pastry Chef who shares our commitment to exceptional food quality, outstanding customer service, and community engagement. As a Pastry Chef, you’ll lead a dynamic team in crafting a diverse menu of over 40 freshly baked pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins—all made with wholesome, honest ingredients.

- Proven expertise in the kitchen, from following precise recipes to ensuring every pastry is crafted with care and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs. of dough, flour, and supplies while standing, mixing, and working throughout the day.
- Adaptability and flexibility to manage a fast-paced kitchen while keeping an eye on every delicious creation.
- A love for early mornings—Pastry Chef shifts begin as early as 4 AM (or earlier!) year-round. If you’re an early bird, this is the perfect role for you!
Qualifications & Experience
- 1+ years of large-scale baking/pastry experience, with the ability to decorate pastries quickly and beautifully.
- Leadership experience in either food service or retail settings.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance with local, state, and federal food handling and sanitation standards.
- Experience managing inventory and ordering supplies efficiently.
- Formal culinary education is a plus!
