The Shipping & Receiving Clerk I is responsible for shipping and routing of materials into and out of the business unit, ensuring accuracy in documentation and data entry.
Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, verify, process, and route incoming materials; enter receipts in the Materials Management system.

Notify Warehouse Manager of discrepancies between shipments and documentation.

Prepare documentation for outbound shipments.
-
Manage the Returned Goods process per SOP.
-
Deliver stock to designated staging areas and rotate inventory to prevent expiration.

Report short-dated materials to the Warehouse Manager.
-
Support cycle counts and physical inventory.
-
Assist in order entry, picking, packing, delivery, record storage, and mail distribution.

Follow all company, safety, and compliance policies (OSHA, CLIA, etc.).

Recommend process improvements to the Warehouse Manager.

Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Required
-
High School diploma or GED.
-
At least 6 months of materials management experience.

Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.

Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
Preferred

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Skills

Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Strong problem-solving, communication, and record-keeping abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a team and operate basic office/computer equipment.

Valid driver’s license (non-commercial vehicle use as required).
