About the Position
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for verifying and recording all incoming and outgoing shipments. This role ensures accurate documentation, prepares shipments, receives deliveries, and maintains compliance with warehouse management systems.
Key Responsibilities

Label, pack, stage, and load items for shipment.

Accept shipments, prepare docks, and unload delivery vehicles.

Inspect shipments for damages, shortages, or defects and document discrepancies.

Maintain accurate records of received and shipped items in warehouse management systems.

Track shipping materials, supplies, and inventory.

Operate stretch wrap banders, prepare pallets, and ensure safe handling of goods.

Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with SQFI, FDA, and customer requirements.

Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

At least 6 months experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to pass background and drug screening.
