Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Superintendent and team members to complete work efficiently, safely, and accurately.
  • Primarily work within your specialty area but remain flexible to assist with any tasks that contribute to project success.
  • Travel nationwide to job sites, following a 3-week on / 1-week off or 5-day on / 2-day off schedule, depending on crew location and project needs.
  • Continuously learn and develop new skills, including equipment operation, soil technology, specialized techniques, leadership, and problem-solving strategies.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in shotcrete or civil construction concrete work.
  • Proficiency in mixing shotcrete or grout according to specifications for both dry and wet applications.
  • Experience in running and securing hoses for optimal safety and efficiency.
  • Skilled in operating shotcrete and grouting pumps.
  • Ability to perform equipment cleaning and maintenance.
  • Background in casing, rock drilling, or related tasks.
  • 1+ year of experience in traveling construction labor.
  • 1+ year of working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Capable of understanding and meeting daily production targets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • A history of adhering to construction safety protocols and utilizing proper safety tools.
  • Demonstrated reliability—showing up on time, every time.

Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $24 – $26 per hour (GMT3 role)
  • Hourly wage varies based on experience, with increases for:
    • Additional years of experience and technical expertise in drilling.
    • Ability to operate Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMV) or hold a CDL.
    • Certifications and experience with heavy equipment (e.g., skid steer, forklift, Bobcat, scissor lift, or CDL vehicles).
    • Hands-on experience operating shotcrete or grouting pumps.
    • Leadership experience, including directing teams, managing customer interactions, or overseeing projects.
  • Overtime pay included.
  • 100% paid travel expenses.
