Join Our Team as a Site Agent
We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to oversee civil engineering and infrastructure projects in Newcastle. This 16-month fixed-term contract (FTC) role involves managing project delivery, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and maintaining strong client relationships. As a Site Agent, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering projects efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Site Agent

Project Management: Oversee the safe and efficient delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.

Client Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients through regular meetings and site visits, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

Team Coordination: Manage site teams, including subcontractors, ensuring proper induction, training, and adherence to safety protocols.

Health and Safety Compliance: Conduct safety observations, deliver toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with method statements, risk assessments, and all CDM regulations.

Financial Oversight: Manage the financial performance of contracts, ensuring work is completed to budget and maintaining accurate site records and timesheets.
Qualifications and Experience Required

Educational Background: ONC/HNC/HND qualification in Construction or Civil Engineering.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a high level of expertise in highway construction and maintenance.

Certifications: CSCS Professionally Qualified card, SMSTS/IOSH (Safety Related Qualification), and a full clean driving license.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of business management systems and proficiency in using Microsoft Project to track performance.
Benefits Package

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 (dependent on experience) plus company car or car allowance.
