Balfour Beatty Highways is at the forefront of delivering, maintaining, and managing the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure projects. We’re currently seeking a Site Engineer to join our team in Woking, supporting the successful delivery of critical highway improvement schemes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Ensure all work activities are carried out with a focus on Zero Harm safety principles

  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives within project delivery

  • Produce and deliver Task Briefing Sheets

  • Support and communicate Permit to Dig documentation and processes

  • Conduct site safety inspections

  • Perform site setting out using control points provided

  • Create technical sketches and documentation to support setting out activities

  • Interpret and apply information from drawings, specifications, and schedules

  • Monitor project progress and report accordingly

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in site engineering within the highways or infrastructure sector

  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and engineering best practices

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical construction drawings

  • A methodical, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
