Join Our Team as a Site Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Site Maintenance Assistant to ensure our school facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming. In this role, you’ll perform daily maintenance tasks, oversee minor repairs, and maintain the cleanliness of our grounds. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a positive environment for our students and staff.

Role Overview: Site Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.

  • Perform minor repairs in areas such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of school premises, including classrooms, restrooms, and outdoor areas.

  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs when necessary.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

  • Assist in setting up facilities for school events and activities.

Working Hours

  • Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Part-Time: 3 days a week (days negotiable)

Candidate Requirements

  • Basic experience in maintenance tasks or a strong DIY background.

  • A proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to work independently.

  • Comfortable handling minor purchases related to maintenance needs.

  • Willingness to undergo Health & Safety and child safeguarding training.

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
