Site Reliability Engineer | Quant Trading

Position Overview:
We are seeking talented Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) and Production Engineers to join a dynamic, multi-skilled engineering team at one of New York City’s leading quantitative trading firms. These specialized teams play a vital role by delivering critical operational support, software development, performance optimization, and automation solutions that enhance the productivity and effectiveness of development and trading units across the organization. Collaboration is at the heart of this role, as team members work closely across departments to proactively identify potential issues and develop innovative software solutions that keep trading operations running smoothly and efficiently.

About You:

• You bring at least 2 years of experience in site reliability, production engineering, or software engineering roles.

• You have strong software development skills, proficient in one or more widely-used programming languages.

• You’re adept at live troubleshooting, applying quick code fixes, driving performance improvement projects, and managing distributed systems.

• You possess solid experience working within Linux environments.

• You approach challenges with intellectual curiosity and a passion for problem-solving, constantly eager to learn and grow.
