BELFOR Property Restoration is seeking an Advanced Carpenter (Level 4) to join our team of experts in reconstruction and commercial restoration. This role is critical to supporting large-scale projects, supervising less experienced carpenters, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. Advanced Carpenters are skilled in all aspects of commercial, industrial, and institutional construction practices and play a vital role in both operations and team training.

This position also offers opportunities to advance into the Estimator Track or Project Manager Track for those seeking long-term career growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects and supervise Basic & Intermediate Carpenters.

• Train team members in construction methods, tools, and safety practices.

• Anticipate potential issues and escalate complex problems as needed.

• Construct dust and contaminant containment barriers.

• Perform framing, roofing, ceiling installation, cabinetry, trim, insulation, and siding tasks.

• Execute flood cutting, salvaging, labeling, and repair tasks per BELFOR standards.

• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and maintain equipment.

• Provide exceptional customer service while safeguarding client property.

• Perform emergency services including board-ups and building security.

• Work nights, weekends, and travel as required for project needs.

Requirements

• Supervisory experience with labor crews and subcontractors.

• Strong knowledge of construction practices, tools, and safety procedures.

• Experience in metal framing, acoustical ceilings, roofing, cabinetry, insulation, and exterior finishes.

• Ability to lead in high-risk or complex projects.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed.
