Senior Fraud Strategy Manager – Mortgage & Business Lending
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Fraud Strategy Manager to oversee fraud risk management within business banking and mortgage applications. This role involves reviewing and enhancing fraud policies and strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. You will lead an operations team focused on fraud detection and prevention while collaborating with stakeholders—including product owners and risk professionals—to strengthen fraud prevention measures.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies for business and mortgage lending.
- Oversee fraud risk controls, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Manage and support a team responsible for fraud detection and mitigation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to improve fraud prevention measures.
- Leverage data management and analytics to enhance fraud strategies, with advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
- Lead policy sessions to drive continuous improvements and manage systems related to fraud policies.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of business and mortgage lending processes and controls.
- Proven expertise in fraud risk management and mitigation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Comprehensive understanding of mortgage and business lending products.
- Experience in data management and analytics, with proficiency in Excel for reporting and strategy development.

- Guide long-term strategic decisions that impact profitability and risk management.
- Act as a subject matter expert, advising leadership teams and senior management on fraud risks and mitigation strategies.
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, using influencing and negotiation skills to drive business objectives.
