Social Content Intern

Job Category: Sales and Marketing
Job Type: Internship
Job Location: USA
Salary: $20/hr
Company Name: Halfday Iced Tea

Company Overview

When Kayvon Jahanbakhsh, Co-founder of Halfday, was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis during his freshman year of college, he lost over 80 pounds and had to drastically change his diet to prioritize gut health.

It was during this challenging time that Kayvon realized how hard it was to find products that supported his digestive health and still tasted good. This led to the creation of Halfday Prebiotic Iced Tea, a brand designed to make digestive wellness both delicious, fun, and accessible.

As a first-generation Iranian-American, Kayvon grew up with a family tradition of serving tea at every meal. However, when he got to school, he discovered sugary bottled iced teas available in every cafeteria.

Determined to create a better option, Kayvon teamed up with his classmate and best friend, Mike Lombardo, to develop an iced tea that captured the nostalgia of his childhood but without the excess sugar and additives. Each can of Halfday contains prebiotic fiber and just 3-5g of sugar.

Kayvon and Mike tirelessly researched the highest quality fibers and ingredients to ensure Halfday would be something Kayvon could enjoy every single day—without compromise.
