About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a creative, highly organised, and self-motivated Social Media & Content Manager to lead and execute the content strategy for two brands and a personal LinkedIn profile. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creative freedom, understands the power of consistent online presence, and enjoys shaping a brand’s voice through content that connects and converts.
You’ll take charge of content creation, posting, community management, and growth across multiple platforms. Reporting directly to the business owner, you’ll meet weekly to align on goals, performance, and creative direction. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact.

Objective: Thought leadership and industry visibility
What You’ll Be Doing

Plan, create, and publish engaging, on-brand content (images, reels, stories, posts, carousels, shorts, etc.)

Build and maintain consistent content calendars (daily, weekly, and monthly schedules)

Grow organic followers, drive engagement, and strengthen brand voice

Monitor DMs and comments and respond where appropriate to encourage engagement

Stay on top of trends, viral formats, hashtags, and platform algorithm changes
-
Conduct competitor research and develop creative strategies
-
Track analytics, prepare monthly insights, and adjust content based on performance
-
Attend a weekly 1:1 with the business owner to report progress and pitch new ideas

Use scheduling tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Later to stay on track

Help maintain accountability to the social media plan and timelines
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience managing business social media accounts

Solid understanding of content strategy and platform best practices
-
Experience with tools like Canva, CapCut, InShot, or Adobe Suite for content creation
-
Great copywriting and visual storytelling skills
-
Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently

Confident in interpreting analytics and adjusting strategy accordingly

Up-to-date with current social trends, audience behaviours, and industry hashtags
Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Points)

Experience running paid social ad campaigns

Familiarity with SEO best practices

Intermediate to advanced video editing or animation skills
