We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator to support an upcoming federal contract, working across federal, state, and local government client accounts. If you are passionate about social media, analytics, and creating positive impact through communication, this role may be for you.

This is a remote role within the United States, with preference for candidates located on the East Coast.

The Team

You’ll be part of a digital communications team supporting government accounts, providing expertise in:

  • Social media management

  • Content writing and editing

  • Paid media support

  • Social listening and analytics

  • Metrics reporting

  • Training and client support

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute social media plans and editorial calendars.

  • Create engaging content (copy, graphics, and video) for multiple platforms.

  • Schedule, publish, and monitor content using third-party tools.

  • Provide analytics and actionable recommendations for program improvement.

  • Manage and respond to social media comments.

  • Collaborate across teams (creative, paid media, analytics, and client POCs).

  • Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (to obtain Public Trust).

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, media, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in federal government communications or contracts.

  • Knowledge of federal social media policies, Plain Language Act, and branding standards.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Sprout Social, Brandwatch, or Hootsuite.

  • Background in public relations, social media teams, or digital media agencies.

  • Skills in graphic/video editing (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).

  • Experience in paid social campaign setup and optimization.

  • Familiarity with crisis communications and rapid response.

Professional Skills

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.

  • Strong project management, multitasking, and deadline-driven skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range: $60,927 – $125,327 (based on full-time employment)
