Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) is hiring an experienced Social Media Manager in Phoenix, AZ, with a competitive annual salary of $95,000. As a Social Media Manager, you’ll lead strategy, campaigns, and content across multiple platforms to support retail, mission-driven, and community initiatives. This role blends creativity, leadership, and digital expertise, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities of a Social Media Manager

  • Plan and activate engaging social media campaigns that align with GCNA’s mission.

  • Create branded content including graphics, photography, and videography.

  • Manage paid social media opportunities in partnership with Marketing leadership.

  • Track performance metrics, analyze insights, and optimize results.

  • Build partnerships with influencers and brand ambassadors.

  • Lead a team, provide coaching, and oversee performance management.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.

  • Stay current with social media trends and tools to drive innovation.


Social Media Manager Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).

  • 5–8 years of experience managing multiple social accounts for a large-scale employer.

  • Strong skills in digital design, content creation, photography, and videography.

  • Proficiency in social media analytics and insights tracking.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

  • Must pass background check and drug screening.
