About Host Guest
Founded in 2024 and officially registered in Georgia in 2025, Host Guest is a U.S.-based startup connecting international students, out-of-state students, and cultural travelers with welcoming, verified host families across the United States.
Launching in Fall 2025, our mission is to create belonging, safety, and personal connection through trusted homestay experiences. Our fully remote team is ambitious, creative, and dedicated to making Host Guest a go-to platform for students and families worldwide.
The Role: Content Creator / Social Media Manager
We’re looking for a creative, motivated Content Creator / Social Media Manager to build our digital presence and bring the Host Guest story to life online.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll create short-form videos, engaging graphics, and community-driven content across TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You’ll have the freedom to experiment, tell human-centered stories, and shape the voice of a brand right before launch.
Key Responsibilities

🎥 Create, edit, and publish short-form videos (TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn).

✍️ Write captions, hooks, and scripts that align with our brand voice.

📅 Plan and schedule content across multiple social platforms.

💬 Monitor comments, DMs, and engagement to grow community presence.

🔍 Stay on top of social trends, viral formats, and audios to adapt for Host Guest.

🎨 Collaborate with designers and marketing teammates to align visuals.

📊 Track basic analytics (views, clicks, signups) and share insights with the team.
Qualifications

Must be based in the United States.

2+ years of experience creating video and social media content (academic, freelance, or professional).

Comfortable on-camera or directing others for storytelling.

Skilled with CapCut, Canva, iMovie, or similar tools.

Strong written English skills with the ability to make content relatable.

Organized, proactive, and reliable in a remote environment.

Bonus: Background in cultural storytelling, student life, or brand campaigns.

Compensation & Role Details

Remote, part-time role (15 hours/week).

Hourly pay: $14–$16 depending on experience.
