We’re looking for a Staff Social Media Manager to lead developer-focused social media strategy, manage our content calendar, and grow engagement with technical communities. This role is fully remote (US-based) with the flexibility to collaborate asynchronously across global teams.


What You’ll Do

Content Calendar Management

  • Develop, maintain, and execute social media calendars across all platforms.

  • Coordinate scheduling and publishing with Sprout Social.

  • Plan around product launches, industry events, and developer trends.

  • Manage content approvals, workflows, and deadlines.

Developer-Focused Content Creation

  • Create technical content—tutorials, code snippets, and tips—for developer audiences.

  • Translate complex technical topics into engaging, accessible formats.

  • Collaborate with engineering and advocacy teams to highlight innovations.

Platform Management & Optimization

  • Oversee daily activity on LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Instagram.

  • Partner with YouTube manager for cross-promotions.

  • Monitor developer communities and engage in discussions.

  • Optimize timing and formats for developer engagement.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track performance with a focus on developer-specific metrics.

  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on engagement and reach.

  • Identify high-performing content to shape future strategy.

  • Measure effectiveness of employee advocacy programs.

Community Engagement

  • Interact with developer community members and influencers.

  • Answer questions, respond to mentions, and build relationships.

  • Direct technical inquiries to appropriate teams.


What You’ll Bring

  • 8+ years in B2B SaaS or software social media marketing.

  • Experience creating content for developer or technical audiences.

  • Proficiency with Sprout Social (scheduling, monitoring, reporting).

  • Familiarity with Asana for project management.

  • Strong technical writing and content creation skills.

  • Knowledge of developer tools, programming concepts, and terminology.

  • Basic graphic design ability (Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite).

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Self-motivation with ability to work independently.

Compensation Range (US-based): $81,000–$174,000 USD (varies by state).
