HAZ Creative is seeking a motivated and imaginative Social Media Intern to join our fast-growing creative team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about digital media, brand storytelling, and audience engagement to gain hands-on experience in the world of social media management and public relations.
As a Social Media Intern, you will support the planning, creation, and execution of social media content and campaigns that elevate our brand voice and engage our online communities. You’ll work closely with our marketing team and gain real-world exposure to PR tasks, digital content creation, analytics, and influencer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and scheduling compelling, on-brand content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn

Monitor social media channels to respond to messages, comments, and trending conversations in a timely and engaging manner

Participate in the execution of marketing campaigns that align with our business goals and brand personality

Conduct competitor and industry research to help inform content strategies and creative direction

Draft and edit blog posts, press releases, and other digital communications to support PR objectives

Contribute to the analysis of social media metrics and performance data to help optimise content and strategy

Participate in weekly brainstorming sessions to pitch fresh content ideas and interactive formats

Stay up to date on the latest platform updates, social media trends, and influencer strategies
Ideal Candidate Profile
Required:

A strong personal interest in social media, marketing, and public relations

Exceptional written communication and creative thinking skills

Familiarity with social platforms and their core features (e.g., Reels, Stories, hashtags, tagging etiquette)

A collaborative attitude and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Strong time management and organisational skills
Desirable (but not required):

Coursework or previous internship experience in marketing, media, communications, or related field

Basic knowledge of tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Later, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite
