About Us
The Efficient Activist (TEA) is a newly formed 501(c)(4) organization with ambitious goals: limiting the harm of the Trump administration, supporting pro-democracy candidates in every election cycle, retaking the House of Representatives in 2026, and defeating MAGA in 2028. We help activists take meaningful action by identifying the most effective strategies each month and sharing step-by-step guidance.
Currently, TEA publishes a monthly email newsletter via MailChimp and weekly social media posts across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Bluesky.
We’re seeking a part-time contract Social Media & Marketing Manager to help us expand our reach, engage our audience, and ensure that all communications are accurate, impactful, and aligned with our mission.
Responsibilities

Research, write, and fact-check our monthly newsletter on assigned topics.

Develop and manage the monthly social media content calendar.

Create engaging graphics and visuals for posts.

Post and share content across platforms following our style guide.

Monitor and respond to social media comments and interactions.

Manage the TEA email account, responding to inquiries as needed.

Conduct research and administrative tasks, including outreach to government reps, activists, and partner organizations.
What We’re Looking For

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Passion for politics, democracy, and activism.

Excellent research and writing skills.

Experience creating content for multiple social platforms.

Graphic design skills (Canva or similar).

Familiarity with tools such as MailChimp, Asana, and Canva.
Job Details

Commitment: ~10 hours per month (with potential to grow).

Pay: $30/hour.
