Position Summary

The Social Media Specialist manages daily response and monitoring efforts across Primerica’s digital channels, providing excellent customer service while ensuring timely and accurate communications. This role also collaborates with the content and design teams to develop engaging social media content, assists in webinars, and occasionally represents Primerica at field events.

This position reports to the Senior Social Media Analytics & Social Care Manager and involves participation in a rotating weekend schedule for corporate social media monitoring.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer daily management of corporate social media channels: Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn.

  • Monitor and respond to online ratings and reviews, including Google and other platforms.

  • Follow documented issue resolution processes and triage items to relevant operational areas.

  • Maintain and contribute to pre-approved response matrices for FAQs and issue handling.

  • Adhere to SLAs for response times and resolutions.

  • Contribute best practices for digital customer feedback monitoring and social engagement.

  • Collaborate on social media content development with writers and graphic designers.

  • Assist in webinars and field-facing events, traveling 4–5 times per year as needed.

  • Leverage approved AI tools and platforms for content creation, analytics, trend monitoring, and response optimization.

  • Occasionally present reports and metrics on social media performance.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Proven experience in social media monitoring, community management, and content collaboration.

  • Familiarity with current AI technologies relevant to social media management.
