Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Software Development Intern at VIAVI Solutions, you’ll gain hands-on experience building real-world software. You’ll collaborate with a professional team to design, implement, test, and debug software used to validate critical networks globally. Your work may include integrating with a variety of hardware systems and contributing to user interface development. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in design and architecture discussions with product management to meet customer requirements and future product enhancements.
Requirements:

Completion of at least two years toward a BSEE, BSCE, or BSCS degree

Hands-on experience designing, developing, and testing software in Python, C/C++, or another object-oriented language

Solid understanding of software engineering design principles

Experience working in a Linux development environment (preferred)

Familiarity with building networked applications (preferred)

Experience interfacing with hardware devices (preferred)
