About the Role:
As the Lead Software Engineer, you’ll guide a team of skilled developers to design, build, and maintain high-performance software solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, QA engineers, and business analysts to ensure that software is aligned with business goals and healthcare standards. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining code quality, ensuring scalability, and promoting engineering excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to deliver robust, scalable software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features for Provation’s healthcare software products.
• Drive engineering standards and ensure compliance with best practices in code quality and security.
• Plan, prioritize, and manage engineering activities to ensure timely project delivery.
• Develop applications using C#, .NET, and modern frameworks like Angular (2+).
• Integrate cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure for scalable deployments.
• Promote Agile development practices including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Provide technical guidance during code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, incorporating emerging tools and practices into development workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–7 years of experience in software development with proven leadership responsibilities.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
• Experience with Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud environments and DevOps pipelines.
• Strong understanding of security, encryption, and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentorship skills.
