Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer to play a pivotal role in our technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the development, configuration, and continuous enhancement of our ServiceNow platform. This role is critical in transforming business processes, improving operational efficiency, and delivering technical solutions that meet our organization’s dynamic needs.

The selected developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, translating complex business requirements into robust, scalable ServiceNow implementations. You will have the opportunity to leverage your deep technical expertise to solve challenging problems and create innovative solutions that drive organizational effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and implement comprehensive ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications and integrations
  • Lead technical development of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and other critical platforms
  • Customize ServiceNow workflows, UI actions, pages, business rules, and client scripts
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications
  • Ensure platform architecture adheres to best practices in performance, security, and scalability
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues efficiently
  • Perform platform upgrades and patches with minimal operational disruption

Required Experience/Skills

  • 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow core modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM)
  • ServiceNow CMDB implementation and asset management lifecycle expertise
  • Certifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Technical Proficiencies:
  • JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS
  • REST/SOAP integrations
  • Custom form and workflow development
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Nice-to-Haves

  • Expertise in ServiceNow ITOM, ITBM, or specialized modules
  • Experience with ServiceNow automation and orchestration
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow upgrade best practices
  • Familiarity with additional automation tools

Education

  • Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Equivalent work experience will be considered
