Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to software development teams across various applications or projects.

• Develop software applications and features in an Agile environment, adhering to the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Build applications in both hybrid and cloud-native environments using skills such as object-oriented programming (C#), SQL databases, Entity Framework (EF), Angular, and ASP.NET for web applications.

• Participate in requirements gathering, design, development, testing, release, and ongoing maintenance of applications.

• Collaborate with team members on projects, development processes, tools, and training.

• Provide high-level end-user support, including training and troubleshooting for applications.

• Contribute to the software validation process through the creation, review, and execution of test plans, cases, and scripts.

• Offer technical guidance and support to junior team members.

• Learn and apply patterns, approaches, and business practices across multiple development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

• At least 2 years of software development experience with C#, Angular (or similar JavaScript framework), HTML5, CSS3, SQL, and GitHub.

• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management.

• Experience with Azure and Entity Framework is a plus.

• Prior experience in system modernization is a plus.

• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in computer applications and technical tools.

Compensation

• Target salary range: $70,000 – $145,000, based on skills and experience.
