As part of the Customer Care Lab, you’ll design, build, and optimise software that serves millions of customers and supports the wider business. You’ll collaborate across teams, lead by example, and deliver scalable, secure, high-quality solutions.
Your Role at a Glance
Purpose:
Develop and enhance software solutions using modern engineering methods to improve customer and colleague experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver performant, maintainable software using modern frameworks and tooling

Build and reuse scalable React components and front-end assets

Conduct thorough unit testing, code reviews, and documentation

Collaborate with product, design, and tech teams to align solutions with business needs

Lead and mentor junior engineers while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement

Embed secure coding practices and accessibility standards
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills:

Expertise in React and component-based architecture

Skilled in Webpack, NPM, Jest, React Testing Library, and Stryker

Solid understanding of unit testing, code reviews, and technical debt management
Highly Valued:

Proficiency in TypeScript, CSS-in-JS, and UI component libraries

Experience in performance and accessibility optimisation

Strong mentoring skills and a collaborative mindset
