Your Role at Baxter
Join our Novum Pump Platform (NPP) team, where your work directly impacts patients in critical moments—from trauma care to neonatal medicine. As a Software Engineer, you’ll contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of life-saving infusion platforms that must meet the highest safety standards.
What You’ll Do

Develop embedded software in C/C++ and Python.

Write design specifications and test procedures.

Participate in team meetings and technical design reviews.

Conduct smaller projects independently with minimal supervision.

Recommend improvements based on the latest technical knowledge.

Contribute to budget cost estimates and execution of development plans.

Investigate customer service issues and propose design improvements.
What You’ll Bring
-
Bachelor’s in Software, Computer, or Electrical Engineering with 1+ years’ experience, or Master’s with 1+.

Proficiency in C/C++, with familiarity in Python and Linux.

Experience with MATLAB or other object-oriented languages a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and adaptability.

Knowledge of Six Sigma quality techniques preferred.
Compensation & Workplace Flexibility

Salary Range: $72,000 – $99,000 (based on skills, location, and experience).

Baxter’s flexible workplace policy requires a minimum number of onsite days while supporting hybrid collaboration.
