About the Role

We are seeking a Frontend Engineer to join our International Payments team, where you’ll help expand Coinbase’s portfolio of fiat onramps and offramps across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with engineers, product managers, designers, and leadership to translate vision into quarterly roadmaps.

Write clean, scalable, and well-tested code for web and mobile applications.

Implement maintainable frontend architecture with a focus on performance, security, and usability.

Deliver services efficiently within tight deadlines while handling ambiguity with agility.

Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Contribute positively to team culture by fostering inclusion and collaboration.
What We Look For

2+ years of experience developing and shipping user-facing features in TypeScript/JavaScript using modern frameworks such as React or React Native.

Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance, and usability best practices.

Experience working across product and design lifecycles.

Proven ability to write high-quality, well-tested code.

Self-starter capable of building scalable solutions with minimal guidance.
Nice to Have
-
Experience with GraphQL and React Relay.

Exposure to full-stack development (gRPC, Golang).

Familiarity with API design and building testable codebases.

Knowledge of crypto and onchain activities such as Ethereum addresses, ENS, or dApps.
