About the Job
Peerless Instrument, a division of Curtiss-Wright Corporation, is looking for a Software Engineering Intern at our Farmingdale, NY location. This role involves working on circuit cards and related software for instrumentation and control systems used on various platforms. Interns will gain hands-on experience with engineering tasks related to design, analysis, testing, and integration.
Location: East Farmingdale, NY
Hourly Pay: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour
Note: The pay range is a general guideline and may vary based on qualifications, experience, and market conditions.
Your Responsibilities:

Perform source code analysis, design, documentation, maintenance, troubleshooting, toolchain selection, test fixture design, and process automation.

Assist experienced engineers with various assignments and contribute to larger projects.

Shadow daily engineering operations and work on tasks that support ongoing projects.

Design complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.

Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.

Work independently and collaborate within a team environment.
Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older by the start of the internship.

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Completion of at least one year of undergraduate studies in software engineering or a related field.

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in software engineering or a similar discipline.
