Key Responsibilities

  • Build health dashboards aggregating 50+ sensor streams.

  • Develop tools that help LLMs interact more effectively with the codebase.

  • Write integration tests and monitoring systems for distributed robotic platforms.

  • Transform fragmented datasets into clean, usable APIs.

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to improve workflows and automation.

Required Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience.

  • Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills.

  • Excited to use AI tools for faster, smarter coding.

  • Quick learner with ability to adapt to new technologies.

  • Writes clean, readable, and maintainable code.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Python or JavaScript.

  • Familiarity with LLMs, AI coding assistants, or developer tooling.

  • Exposure to robotics, distributed systems, or sensor data.

  • Interest in automation, testing, and developer experience.

Location & Travel

  • Remote work available or work onsite at Terran Robotics Lab (Bloomington, Indiana).

  • Remote employees expected to travel up to 5 days per month to the lab.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $70,000 – $110,000/year (commensurate with experience & location)

  • Equity: Participation in company’s equity incentive plan
