About the Role
As a Software Engineer, you’ll be part of a cross-functional product team (SAT – Stream Aligned Team) responsible for core features such as user activation, engagement, referrals, subscriptions, and communication. You will design and deliver backend services that are secure, scalable, and impactful—working closely with engineers, designers, QA, and product leads.
You’ll also contribute to architecture, DevOps practices, and company-wide engineering standards while shaping the future of financial technology with Bitcoin at its core.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure backend services with low latency and high availability

Own your services end-to-end—from design to production, monitoring, and support

Work in cross-functional teams and contribute to shared product outcomes

Develop contract-first APIs and implement automated testing across multiple levels

Embrace CI/CD best practices, observability, and real-time fault tolerance

Contribute to technical designs and collaborate with the Development Community of Practice

Drive innovation with event-driven and domain-driven architecture

Ensure high engineering standards across services deployed on AWS
Required Skills & Tech Stack

Languages: Python (Django/Flask), Node.js, Java

Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL, BigQuery

Architecture: Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design

Cloud/DevOps: AWS, Docker, CI/CD, 12-factor app design

Testing: Contract-first design, test automation (unit, service, end-to-end)

Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Experience building reliable asynchronous systems and highly observable applications
