Role Overview: Solutions Integration Engineer

As a Solutions Integration Engineer, your primary mission is to support Geounits, internal stakeholders, and solution teams in deploying the appropriate cloud-based solutions within the DELFI platform—ensuring successful customer onboarding and solution adoption. You serve as a technical bridge between headquarters and field teams, enabling the effective positioning, deployment, and support of solutions tailored to both internal and external client needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design & Deployment Readiness
    Develop and enhance solution design frameworks and technical competencies to ensure the effective deployment of cloud solutions. This includes preparing tailored solution architectures aligned with customer objectives and internal standards for cloud-based environments.

  • Knowledge Management & Best Practices
    Actively contribute to the continuous capture and documentation of best practices, technical playbooks, and field deployment insights to support repeatable success across projects and teams.

  • Technology Trend Monitoring
    Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, cloud infrastructure trends, and solution design patterns. Use this knowledge to refine cloud deployment strategies and advise solution engineering teams on potential enhancements.

  • Customer Onboarding
    Ensure a seamless and successful onboarding experience for clients (internal or external) into the DELFI cloud environment, providing guidance on setup, configuration, and adoption of relevant features.

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management
    Oversee infrastructure provisioning and manage customizations of system images and services in alignment with Cloud Adoption and Governance processes. This includes working within platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and other cloud service providers.

  • Technical Advisory and Pre-Sales Engagement
    Collaborate with Geounit sales teams throughout the pre-sales cycle by delivering technical presentations, facilitating client workshops, conducting deployment assessments, and designing tailored cloud solutions. Actively contribute to the technical components of proposals and RFP responses.

  • Incident Diagnosis and Troubleshooting
    Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex issues involving web applications, backend services, and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) environments. Apply expert-level problem-solving across multi-cloud platforms, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.

  • Executive-Level Communication
    Translate technical challenges, system behaviors, and issue resolutions into clear, non-technical summaries suitable for executive stakeholders, including up to the president level. Provide insight into root causes, business impact, and recommended action plans.

This role is highly cross-functional, requiring close coordination with:

  • Cloud Engineering for architecture alignment and deployment readiness

  • Product & Solutions Teams for technical enablement and integration planning

  • Sales & Pre-Sales Teams to support customer acquisition and solution positioning

  • Operations & Support Teams to manage infrastructure reliability and performance
