Job Description

RH is looking for a Sous Chef to join our team and help create world-class dining experiences while ensuring the care and maintenance of our kitchen equipment and facilities.

Your Responsibilities

  • Embody and uphold RH’s Vision, Values, and Beliefs every day
  • Serve as the Executive Chef’s right hand, assuming responsibilities in their absence
  • Ensure kitchen and hospitality areas remain clean, safe, and compliant with health codes
  • Support and contribute to strategic research and development initiatives
  • Recruit and hire top culinary talent to match our evolving business needs
  • Lead, train, and mentor kitchen team members, providing in-the-moment coaching and professional development
  • Maintain a confidential Leader Notes log detailing associate performance, training, service standards, and food quality issues
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, overcoming challenges to deliver exceptional results

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in the hospitality or culinary industry
  • Valid food safety certifications (state-specific)
  • Proficient knife skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively at all levels of leadership
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A team player with a positive attitude and creative mindset
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
